GFR Gives Thanks to our Schools’ Frontline Workers: Great Falls HS and Meadow Lark Elementary

Great Falls Rising is acknowledging groups that are serving our community as “Frontline Workers.” Our first recognition is our Great Falls Public Schools. Our teachers, staff, administrators and all GFPS employees have fulfilled their duties to our children during a very difficult time in their careers. The pandemic has presented challenges far beyond anyone’s imagination, and our educators and front-line support staff have continued to perform their jobs admirably. We will highlight two schools each week.

Geoffry Habel, principal, (geoffry_habel@gfps.k12.mt.us) states that “Great Falls High School is one of the most diverse schools in the state.  We take pride in being members of one big Bison Family.  We believe every student is important and we go out of our way to make their years with us as special as they can be.”

Teresa Sprague, principal, (teresa_sprague@gfps.k12.mt.us) tells us that Meadow Lark Elementary is the largest elementary school in GFPS with an enrollment of over 500 students and close to 50 staff. Their mission and vision, along with the parents and community, is to provide a positive, safe, and healthy environment that will develop independent, life-long learners who will strive to reach their highest potential. We take pride in the many opportunities we offer our students!   Website: https://meadowlarkgfps.weebly.com/

WE THANK YOU.
