Great Falls Rising is heading to Helena for the 2020 Women’s March!!! Back where it all began in 2017! Seems the consensus is to have everyone – passionate women AND men – advocates from all walks of life who are eager for change – gather in Helena to energize one another during this critical election year. The stakes are higher than ever! The party starts at noon at Helena’s Memorial Park.

Don’t want to drive? No problem! We’re renting buses again! Cost is $30. The DEADLINE is next Wednesday, January 15th by noon. If we don’t break even on the head count, we will have to cancel the bus reservation and drive. So, rally the troops! Make your own signs!

Here’s how you can pay:

* Venmo ~ send funds to @ElaineSchoyen treasurer of Great Falls Rising. A Venmo account is a means to make payments electronically through a free app. Payments made are fee-free. Go to Venmo.com to sign up.

* PayPal ~ go to ‘paypal.me/greatfallsrising‘ tome/greatfallsrising?locale.x=en_US send funds, or designate payment to “greatfallsrisingmt@gmail.com.’ A PayPal account is needed to send funds, it may involve a small fee, depending how it is paid. Go to PayPal.com to sign up.

* Cash/or Check Payable to ‘Great Falls Rising’ ~ please drop by the YWCA, 220 2nd St N, Great Falls, MT, (406) 452-1315. There will be someone at the front desk and an envelope for your payment. Please write your name, email address and phone number when you pay on the outside of the envelope. We will make sure you get last minute details if something changes.

We will meet in Gibson Park Parking lot in front of the Bandshell at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 18th. The Bus departs PROMPTLY at 10:15 am. Dress warm. Coolers and foldup chairs welcome!

For those who cannot travel to Helena, live streaming of the event will be downstairs and available to all at the YWCA from 11:45-2:00 – 220 2nd St N, Great Falls, MT, (406) 452-1315 with Shyla Patera as hostess.
