In January 2021, KGPR 89.9 FM started our journey as an all volunteer listener supported radio station, and we are off to an amazing start! Many of your old favorites, like Front Range Outdoors, On Point: Veterans’ Talk Radio and Letters from a Land of Grass, are back with the same extraordinary hosts and compelling content. Voices and Views has a new host and an updated format, and a range of fascinating and innovative programs are in the pipeline, with Learned Luck, produced by Great Falls College Montana State University, having had its debut airing on March 31. We also continue to bring you the best in locally produced music, including Great Falls Symphony previews and the latest songs from local artists. Check out our website, kgpr.org, for podcasts of all our great locally produced shows and music, and stay tuned for updates! KGPR is incredibly grateful to all the members of our community who have stepped up by joining our Board of Directors, going above and beyond as DJs, producers and hosts and pounding the pavement and getting out the word about the new and improved KGPR. While all this is very exciting, KGPR still needs your support to make sure we can pay for needed upgrades to our equipment and cover utility costs, FCC compliance costs and other expenses needed to keep us on the air. Please join us as we continue to remake public radio in Great Falls with the singular objective of bringing you a wide variety of compelling, locally produced content. If you are interested in volunteering or serving on our Board of Directors, or you want to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please reach out to us at info@kgpr.org.
