MWA’s Wild Winter Adventures

From our friends at the Montana Wilderness Association…

To get 2019 off on the right foot, MWA will kick off the season of Wild Winter Adventures by introducing the snowy adventures that Island Range Chapter volunteers will be leading over the next few months. Come hear about the variety of hikes that are available, and enjoy a chance to socialize with friends and other members.

Tuesday, January 8th
6 – 8 p.m.
Darkhorse Hall in the Celtic Cowboy
116 1st Avenue, Great Falls

We’re also happy to be joined by “Backcountry” Bob Ronan, MWA’s database manager and resident survival expert, to talk about the basics of winter survival – what to bring, what to know, and how to make sure that your winter adventures stay safe and fun.

Watch: Backcountry Bob’s Holiday Survival Tips

As always, the event is free and open to the public. Members are encouraged to bring friends, family, and other wilderness enthusiasts!
I’m looking forward to seeing you there.

– Julie Demarais, MWA Island Range Chapter president
